Retro PCI sound cards still work properly in both CSM and UEFI modes. The AU8830 sound card (with a wavetable header) neither works on "32-bit windows 10" nor all 64-bit versions of Windows. It perfectly works on 32-bit Windows 7 but some news articles says that you are forbidden to use Windows 7 in 2024 due to lack of official security updates, and support. Linux is the only solution for DOSBox gaming. You do not need to manually install linux drivers for this soundcard, most linux distros should have the soundcard driver built in.
