Описание к видео Walking on Leicester's "Little India Street": Belgrave Road & Melton Road, (on a hot summer's day).

This is a walk on a street known as the "Golden Mile" where the stretch of the High Street recorded in this video there are many, many south Indian cafe type restaurants, eateries, spice & grocery shops.

Well worth seeking out is a wonderful Vegetarian restaurant called "Chai Pani" .........we especially recommend their "Tandoori Sizzler" & all their portion sizes are quite large.

Many congratulations to Leicester City football club on being crowned Premier League champions after Tottenham failed to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge yesterday (2nd May 2016).

(Following is still in draft:
This area was settled by many Gujarati Indians in the 1970's arriving over here from Africa due to being told to leave the country by the then dictator Idi Amin. Many of the people fleeing were businessmen back in places like Kampala, Mombasa & Uganda; so it was natural that when they arrived here in the UK that they would start some form of business).
