Active weather returns to Texas this weekend.
Storms will increase across West Texas overnight, with hail and strong wind possible. On Saturday, the threat shifts east, and parts of Southeast and East Texas have been upgraded to a Level 2 out of 5 severe risk.

Here’s what we’re tracking:
• Overnight storms in West Texas with hail risk
• Severe threat shifts east Saturday afternoon & evening
• Damaging winds over 60 mph possible
• Hail, potentially over 1 inch
• A low but increasing tornado threat in Southeast Texas
• 1–3 inches of rain possible in Northeast & East Texas
• Potential wildfire concerns next week

This does not look like a high-end outbreak, but some storms Saturday evening could be on the rowdy side.
