"Night of 1,000 Jack-O'-Lanterns" at the Chicago Botanic Garden is a popular annual Halloween event featuring over 1,000 hand-carved pumpkins displayed along a scenic path.

During my October 2023 visit, it was raining, adding a moody atmosphere to the experience as I navigated the illuminated path. The event included costumed entertainers, live pumpkin carving demonstrations, and themed displays, making it a memorable night despite the weather.

This Halloween celebration is a ticketed event that often sells out, making it a sought-after experience for people of all ages to enjoy. I recommend booking as soon as the tickets drop in September.
