Based in Southern California, Saraiah is a licensed marriage and family therapist, an assistant program director for one of Didi Hirsch’s child and family clinics and founder of Rooted Foundations, a mental health practice that helps children, families, parents and couples create peace and security in their relationships.

She earned her MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary and has worked in the field of mental health for more than 13 years.

Saraiah has over 20 years of experience in working with adolescents and families in the church setting and currently serves at Beyond Church in Fontana.

Outside of the therapy room, Saraiah and her husband are new foster parents to an energetic toddler boy. Saraiah enjoys spending time at home where she is either immersing herself in Korean dramas, tackling challenging diy projects or just chasing their toddler around the house.

In this episode, Saraiah discusses her journey to her purposeful career, her struggles with infertility, and most importantly, she highlights how having children is the true ministry! We cried and laughed but now we get to share such a powerful message of patience and resilience with you all!
