This Old Cedar Chest was Painted Purple! Are vintage and antique cedar chests even worth anything. Some would argue these are worthless, while others say they are priceless. In this video, I will remove the nasty purple paint using Klean Strip Premium Paint Stripper. I will sand the entire piece using 150 grit sandpaper. I will then apply my new favorite finish, Rubio Monocoat hardwax oil, for a beautiful natural finish. I will share the story behind two vintage cedar chests and why they were a must have item for new brides. Thank you for all your support. Barry
