This tribute celebrates the high-flying highlights and the monster 90-point rides that made him a household name, including his legendary battles with Catfish John and his career-high 94-point ride on Chiseled.

But as every cowboy knows, the ride eventually comes to an end. We have included the full, emotional retirement ceremony from Madison Square Garden at the end of this video. Watch as one of the greatest to ever do it hangs up his spurs surrounded by his family, his peers, and thousands of fans in the heart of New York City. It’s a heart-wrenching and beautiful conclusion to a storied journey that saw Cooper transition from a young gun in Texas to a World Champion and eventually the Assistant GM of the Carolina Cowboys.
