Fall is peak time for viewing nature's beauty as leaves turn red, yellow and orange before falling off for the winter.

But why do leaves change colors in the first place?

FOX 11 Meteorologist Audrey Leigh asked Karen Stahlheber, an assistant professor of biology at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
