Normally, vitreous is a colourless, clear, and transparent structure.
But in some Retina and vitreous diseases, this clear and transparent vitreous becomes unclear and opaque.
Because of these, the vision becomes less.
That time, as a part of treatment, Vitrectomy surgery is done.
Vitrectomy is an Eye Surgery in which, the whole or part of the
bad vitreous is taken out of the eye, and replaced with various other substances.
