This tutorial shows you how to batch rename PDF files using Guided Actions in Adobe® Acrobat® with the AutoSplit™ plug-in, such as if you want to include this in a multi-step document processing workflow. Here, we use Guided Actions with AutoSplit to change the names of 10 PDF invoices such that the new names contain custom text + text (client name) from a specific location from the first page of each invoice.

This function of AutoSplit is ideal to use when manually renaming multiple files takes a lot of time - or file names must follow a specific format.
