With new restrictions in the North of England coming into place recently due to the Covid-19 pandemic, let's look back to happier times.

Workers receive pay before leaving on their holidays, and one goes home to tell his wife the happy tidings. They pack, and leave for Blackpool. At Blackpool, the beaches are crowded, and donkey rides, sea trips, and shellfish are in great demand. Even the famous ballrooms and Amusement Parks are well patronised, and Dancers perform the Lambeth Walk and the Blackpool Walk, not, perhaps, as expertly as it is done in one of the shows.
