Feb. 23 (Bloomberg) -- Gernot Nerb, chief economist at the Ifo research institute, talks with Bloomberg's David Tweed about German business confidence, which unexpectedly declined for the first time in 11 months in February.
The Ifo institute said its business climate index, based on a survey of 7,000 executives, fell to 95.2 from 95.8 in January. Economists expected a gain to 96.1, according to the median of 37 forecasts in a Bloomberg News survey.
