Making a Katana Sheath - With Kydex and a Strap - ZOMBIE TOOLS

Описание к видео Making a Katana Sheath - With Kydex and a Strap - ZOMBIE TOOLS

Here is the technique we use at Zombie Tools to make our (taco style) Kydex sheath.
The heat source we use is a T-shirt press, it take 45 seconds to heat the plastic. You can heat it in an oven at 350 for roughly 7 minutes otherwise.
The press was made in house and as you can see it's a pretty basic design.
Clamps from Harbor Freight.
You don't need a drill press, a hand drill will work. The bandsaw is recommended but a jigsaw would probably work.
A hand clamp for the eyelets will work in place of the table press.

Hope you makers find this helpful. Leave any questions in the comments, we are always happy to share our techniques.
Cheers, ZT.
