🎬Your routing is easy with Live Hub🎬

In this video, we’ll walk you through configuring inbound calls so your Live Hub–allocated phone number directs callers straight to your bot. We’ll cover prerequisites, creating a routing rule, and everything you need to get going quickly.


✅ Prerequisites:

Bot Setup: You’ve created or connected your bot in the Bots screen.
Allocated Number: You have at least one phone number in the Numbers section of Live Hub.

⚙️ Steps to Configure the Routing Rule:
Go to Routing and select Add New Routing Rule.
Region: Choose your region (e.g., “Europe”).
Type: Call.
Call Criteria: Under Call Originator, pick the Live Hub–allocated number (the one your customers will dial).
Route To: Select the bot you want callers to reach.
Click Create (or Save).

That’s it! Whenever your customers call that Live Hub phone number, they’ll be routed to your bot.

1. Inbound Calls to a Bot Using a Twilio Number

Set up a Twilio SIP trunk in SIP Connections.
In Routing, choose Call as the type and Twilio as the origin.
Route To your bot, then click Create.

2. Outbound Calls (Bot → Customers) Using a Live Hub–Allocated Number
Contact Live Hub support to enable outbound calling.
In Routing, choose Call as the type, Bot as the origin, and select your Live Hub–allocated number as the destination.
Use the REST API to initiate the call.

3. Outbound Calls (Bot → Customers) Using a Twilio Number
In SIP Connections, configure a Twilio trunk.
In Routing, choose Call as the type, Bot as the origin, and Twilio as the route.
Use the REST API to place the call through Twilio.
