A Friend Bet Me $150 I Couldn't Eat Foodie's Big 2.5kg Conti Roll Sandwich Challenge in 20 Minutes!! American professional eater Randy Santel vs Foodie Boutique's Big 2.5kg Conti Roll Sandwich Challenge, hosted by Foodie Boutique Perth up in Alkimos, Western Australia. My girlfriend ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬ and I left Adelaide, South Australia and headed west to Perth, Western Australia where I attempted 4 delicious Australian competitive eating challenges around the Perth metro area. For food challenge #3, Katina and I headed north to Foodie Boutique Perth, which is located inside The Gateway Shopping Precinct - Alkimos Beach. We each attempted and helped to kick off Foodie Boutique's new 2.5kg Big Australian Conti Roll Sandwich Challenge which was absolutely delicious!! I had 45 minutes to feast on a giant supersized continental sandwich roll that featured a 700g freshly baked bread roll with 4 different deli meats - sliced Hungarian salami, prosciutto, Mortadella, and ham. There are 2 layers of sliced Cheddar cheese, and the sandwich also included healthy mixed leaf lettuce, artichokes, and Caponata with eggplant. Those who finish in less than 45 minutes earn the $75 AUD continental roll free plus a sweet T-shirt, $150 AUD cash, and a spot on the Wall of Fame. Beat the current time record and they will double the prize money up to $300 AUD cash. Because a friend offered me an additional $150 AUD cash if I finished in less than 20 minutes, I was trying to do that so I could win $450 AUD cash total.
