Boiling maple syrup! Join us for a day at the maple sugar shack, collecting sap and making it into sweet maple syrup. We boil maple syrup on our small evaporator in the backyard. Syrup season is one of the best times of year, it is the first sign that spring has come! Each spring we try to make a year's worth of homemade maple syrup for our homestead.
