How to STOP Euro Leaders from sticking to the rod

Fishing with thin (micro) euro leaders have fantastic benefits. But just like a lot of things, there are pros and cons. The con is fishing in the rain or any wet conditions.

The solution to fix this problem is a 5 min process. Spiral 1x or 2x tippet down your rod from the tip to the base. (1/4 to 1/2 in apart). You can either tie off on the hook keeper or use self bonding/fusing tape to hold it. The "ridges" formed by the tippet will prevent the leader from sticking to the blank. When you don't need it anymore, you can simply take everything off and dispose of it.
