Africa - Toto

Chautauqua Brass had a blast over the summer recording “Africa” by Toto (arranged by Bobby Fisco) with Logan Bennett (tall trumpeter) and Erik Anderson (trombone & beard). Not only did we get to enjoy time with good friends, but we were also able record a number of pieces around the Fredonia area. We decided to record this classic (with help from Jonathon Fridmann and Tarbox Studios) as a fun way to discover what recording in a studio is all about. The purpose of this project was to learn about the recording process and have as much fun as physically possible. We definitely achieved both.
