High Security Alert At Temples In Punjab Amidst Threats | Reporter Diary

In response to an advisory from security agencies, Punjab temples near the Pakistan border have been placed under a high security alert. A heightened state of caution is currently in effect across a 553-kilometer stretch along the international border, especially around the famous Durgyana Mandir. The move follows an assessment suggesting Pakistan's intelligence service, ISI, and allied terrorist organizations may attempt disruptive activities targeting the temples. To counter this threat, additional security personnel have been dispatched to defend the perimeters and interiors of these religious sites. Effective vigilance measures include surveillance through CCTV and day-to-day security checks, not only to ensure peace and tranquility but also to maintain the sacred aura of these places of worship.
