A lot of dogs bite and maul people while the person is simply walking down the street. Unfortunately preparing for a vicious dog is something you need to do!

People often ask me what should you do if a dog charges at you? How can you defend yourself from an aggressive dog without making the situation worse? Should you avoid eye contact or stare them down? Is running away from an aggressive dog a good option?

In this video I will walk you through when to use intimidation, eye contact, and body posture to stop an attack before it starts.

I talk about what to do if a dog bites you and latches on. I also discuss pepper spray, climbing a tree and using a leash or belt as a weapon or defensive tool.
