Crystal Darts are an excellent, fast throwing projectile that scales well with INT, deals magic damage, and can cause confusion on stone enemies all for 1 FP cost. I use it to maintain poise damage and grabbing aggro while tanking if the enemy has moved outside melee range.
The recipe is easy to find and buy and farming for mats can be done without any combat.
