Brother Surprises Sister At College After 3 Years In The Peace Corps

Aloha everybody! go to 13:00 to skip the drama and see the surprise

Sooooo...surprise!!! I secretly finished my 3 years of Peace Corps service in Madagascar over a week ago and flew to California to surprise my little sister in her class at Azusa Pacific University. I emailed her professor ahead of time and planned this whole thing out with the help of her best friend and my other sister who just happened to be visiting our youngest sister that same exact week.

Of course not everything went according to plan and I ended up having to buy two new separate flights tickets for $2000 because Ethiopian Airlines messed my flight up (and I still haven't gotten my $922 refund back yet!). But long story short, after approximately 54 hours, I finally made it to LAX in time and the surprise that almost didn't happen, happened! My little sister had NO IDEA!

Huge mahalo to Dr. Patricia Brown for being the coolest professor ever and being so excited to help me with this surprise and allowing me to interrupt class, even before the mid-term!

Special thanks to my little sister's best friend, Megan Tasaki, for keeping the secret for so long and helping me shock Kanoe. You are the real MVP!
