How To Sharpen Log Splitter Wedge W/Head to Head Comparison!

We will show how the stock 6 way wedge vs sharpened 6 way wedge works splitting beech with the Eastonmade 12-22. Unexpected results that I didn't even consider but can definitely add up! We split 10 rounds of green beech and time how long it takes and how many times the autocycle kicks back without completing the stroke. We then use the Milwaukee M18 grinder and a sharpening wheel to put an edge on the 6 way and run 10 similar rounds through the splitter so we can compare! Along with improved splitting, reduced wear and tear on the machine, and lower fuel consumption we found an additional benefit!
