Jaka Arum Inspires Young People in Preserving the Environment | Water Conservation Tree-Planting

Discover the Jaka Arum, a community from Tunjungseto Village in Kebumen, Central Java, who dedicate to the environmental protection effort through planting trees!

Despite the name Jaka Arum (Javanese for ""fragrant young man""), the members are no longer young. They are middle-aged men with youthful spirit, committed to greening their village.

They plant trees throughout the village of Tunjungseto in Kebumen to enhance environmental health, improve soil fertility, prevent water shortages, and increase tree cover.

Recently, Jaka Arum community was in collaboration to plant trees around water sources with Trees4Trees aimed at conserving water availability in their village.
