Circularity is the breakthrough we need

Circularity challenges our current economic model towards a healthier and more sustainable future as it keeps materials at their highest value throughout the value chain, for as long as possible. It requires a profound transformation of the way we design, make, use, and discard products. When supporting circularity, governments and businesses make cost-efficient investments to address three interlinked environmental crises: climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution. Circularity must be inclusive to benefit the environment and the well-being of all, leaving no one behind. It requires cooperation among all of us: businesses, governments, finance, researchers, civil society and individuals.
