Revealed to have survived Auswählen, Bazz-B, Liltotto, Giselle and NaNaNa however Bazz-B shoots NaNaNa down, killing him, and reveals that the three of them want to join forces with the Soul Reapers because they seek vengeance for Yhwach abandoning them. The recovered Kenpachi arrives, Aizen prepares for the ascendance as well. After Shunsui rouses the troops, he, Nanao, Mayuri, Nemu, Urahara, Rukia, Renji, Byakuya, Soi-Fon, Ōmaeda, Kenpachi, Yumichika, Hisagi, Ikkaku, Love, Lisa, Hachigen, Hiyori, Shinji, Momo, Bazz-B, Liltotto, Giselle and Aizen depart. On the bottom floor of the Soul Palace, Orihime heals Ichigo and Yoruichi. Yoruichi then invites Grimmjow through from Hueco Mundo.
