In this video, I turn the tiny Sonoff SNZB-01P Zigbee button into a fully featured pool pump controller using Zigbee2MQTT, Home Assistant, and Node-RED.

When I’m backwashing or rinsing the pool, I’m standing right at the pump — so this button gives me fast, easy control without digging for my phone or opening any apps.
