Set in the Underworld of Celtic mythology, Tir Na Nog offers us an unprecedented dynamic adventure! For the first time, a "huge" world to explore freely in open world style, where you can find key objects, solve secondary quests without a precise order and solve rather cryptic puzzles and, it must be said, not very intuitive.
The technology is impressive for the time, the character moves in sideview, however it is possible to rotate the view in four directions, which gives the illusion of three-dimensionality, and to tell the truth makes orienting yourself a rather frustrating thing. Several times I had to stop to try to regain orientation. The game map is quite large, the inventory rather narrow, which forces you to go back and forth to transport the right objects. In this regard, it should be noted that you can leave them wherever you want and they remain there. More than half of the clues are found in the manual, in the form of elements that serves as background to the story. I have tried to explain the ones that are less comprehensible to human logic. It is quite common for this era of action adventures for puzzles to be obscure and not very intuitive. Combat is minimal and you can only eliminate enemies temporarily, as long as you hit them at the right time.

Ambientato nel regno dell'Oltretomba della mitologia celtica, Tir Na Nog ci regala un'avventura dinamica senza precedenti! Per la prima volta, un mondo "enorme" da poter esplorare liberamente in stile open world, dove poter reperire oggetti chiave, risolvere quest secondarie senza ordine preciso e risolvere enigmi alquanto criptici e, bisogna dire poco intuitivi.
La tecnologia è impressionante per l'epoca, il personaggio si muove in sideview, tuttavia è possibile ruotare la visuale nelle quattro direzioni, cosa che dà l'illusione della tridmensionalità, e al dire il vero rende l'orientarsi una cosa piuttosto frustrante. Diverse volte ho dovuto fermarmi per cercare di recuperare l'orientamento. La mappa di gioco è piuttosto ampia, l'inventario piuttosto ristretto, il che costringe a fare avanti e indietro per trasportare gli oggetti giusti. A tal proposito bisogna notare che si possono lasciare ovunque si desideri e lì rimangono. Più della metà degli indizi si trovano nel manuale, sottoforma di elementi del racconto che fa da sottofondo alla storia. Ho cercato di spiegare quelli meno comprensibili alla logica umana. E' piuttosto comune per quest epoca delle avventure dinamiche che gli enigmi siano oscuri e poco comprensibili. Il combattimento è ridotto all'osso e si possono eliminare i nemici solo temporaneamente, a patto di colpirli al momento giusto.
