A couple of weeks ago I took this engine apart and measured up the bare block. The biggest issue was that one cylinder had more wear than the other. It was clear to me, I needed to pass this block to a machine shop and have them machine the bore 0.10" bigger. With that in mind I ordered up parts for this engine: a new gasket kit for the whole engine and two brand new pistons 0.010" oversize.
I took measurements from the brand new parts and they could have been better, as they were not according to spec. So please check your products if you do receive new parts from a dealer or 3rd party distributor.

Once the block was back I made sure to clean everything once more. You never know if there is a chip from the machine shop somewhere. After that, I got everything ready for this rebuild and
I must say," This rebuild took me very long and especially the video process!" I try to go back & forth to get the best shots/angles for everyone to see!

This rebuild is not hard at all and I did not need any special tools for this rebuild. The best tool and most sophisticated tool for this rebuild will be a torque-wrench. Either than that, you will only need some wrenches and sockets. I would rate the difficulty of this rebuild at a 6/10.
