✅ Creamy Garlic Butter Shrimp
🍽 Serves: 1
⏱ Total Time: ~30 minutes

Ingredients:
8 large raw shrimp (head and tail on if preferred)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp tomato paste
50 ml white or rosé wine
200–250 ml water
8 garlic cloves, minced
100gr butter
All-purpose flour (for coating shrimp)
½ tsp salt (or to taste)
¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:
1. Prep the Shrimp:
Peel the shrimp, but keep the head and tail on for presentation (optional).
Save the shells — we’ll use them to make a flavor-packed broth.
Devein the shrimp by making a shallow cut along the back and removing the dark vein.

2. Make Shrimp Shell Broth:
Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tbsp olive oil.
Add the shrimp shells and sauté for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in 1 tbsp tomato paste and cook for another minute.
Pour in 50 ml of wine and let it reduce by half.
Add 200–250 ml of water and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, remove from heat, strain out the shells, and set the broth aside.

3. Prepare the Sauce Base:
In a clean pan, melt 100gr butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and cook for 2–3 minutes until fragrant but not browned.

4. Cook the Shrimp:
Lightly coat the shrimp with flour.
Add to the garlic butter pan and cook for 1–2 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
Add 2 ladles of the shrimp broth (strained).
Remove the shrimp from the pan so they don’t overcook.

5. Finish the Sauce:
Let the sauce reduce by half over medium heat.
Season with ½ tsp salt and ¼ tsp black pepper.

6. Combine & Serve:
Sprinkle in chopped parsley and mix gently.
Return the shrimp to the pan, just to warm them through.
Serve hot with crusty bread, pasta, or rice.
