The North Atlantic is the most powerful, stormiest ocean on the planet. For context: in 2025, we monitored a dozen 50-foot storms across the entire globe. Six of these were in the North Atlantic. Four of these happened over December 2025. As Nic Von Rupp, who’s entire career is focused around chasing such things, said, “It’s been one of the craziest months of my life.
