Last week we got this engine running after it was seized and full of water. While it does run, it makes noise and smokes a lot. While I attempted to keep it going with some more repairs, it did not go as planned. After tearing it down and looking closer, I ended up replacing the Mercruiser 351w with a used 1994 OMC 302w. Once that was done I replaced some of the rotten floors and reinstalled the 1976 leather interior before taking back down the Mississippi River for a much smoother ride.
