6IC Album

Описание к видео 6IC Album

After over a year in construction, the 6 Instrument Challenge Album is now released. The 6 instrument challenge (6IC) is a concept built by NnolokK and I in which we each contribute 3 instrument tracks to construct an overall song. This is similar to the 8IC, but with one less instrument on our parts and, as a result, more complex rhythms and chordal structure. All of the songs in this are constructed by NnolokK and I, so go support his channel too :)

As usual, the names are quite random, and the bad ones would be my fault lol.

Song Descriptions:

(0:00) A Midnight Discovery:

The first ever 6IC started by NnolokK way back in April of 2020. This was made directly after the 8IC album and features several complex parts that chorally work together.

(1:22) Paw Prints:

Started by me back in April of 2020. This was made right after A Midnight Discovery, and turned out to be short and repetitive. It was still a good song, but it proved to be really demotivating for the progress of the rest of the album.

(2:18) Enter If You Dare:

Track started by NnolokK in October 2020 after a long break from the album work. You probably recognize this song as being our final submission to the MusInktober competition hosted by ElyBeatMaker.

(4:49) Winter Warlock's Magical Snowball:

Started by me in December 2020 after another break to finish up the first college semester. My personal favorite in the album despite the strange title. Features an interesting chordal pattern and melodic counterpoint.

(6:52) AAA Battery Bunny:

Started by NnolokK in Spring of 2021. A hard tech rock-type song with a sick electric guitar solo composed by me. Another strange title but enjoy nonetheless.

(8:18) Komatsuna:

Started by me in May of 2021. Komatsuna is a japanese vegetable, so it relatively makes sense to name this pentatonic song after it. A nice chill wrap-up to the album as well. As always, make sure to tell us which is your favorite!

All songs constructed in GarageBand.
Background cover made in GIMP by NnolokK.
Video made and edited in iMovie (despite their laggy update).
