Call of Duty: Vanguard is a first-person shooter video game developed by Sledgehammer Games for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Microsoft Windows. It is set during World War II. Vanguard is the eighteenth game in the Call of Duty franchise. Announced on August 19th, 2021, the game was released on November 5th, 2021. Vanguard was later released on Steam on March 8th, 2023.

About The Mission -

Arthur Kingsley, Richard Webb, Lucas Riggs, and Polina Petrova are captured by Nazis. Tensions rise as Lucas blames Arthur and Wade Jackson for Milos Novak’s death, while Richard vows revenge. Polina reveals she’s encountered Hermann Freisinger, and Richard recounts how he first met Arthur.

During the D-Day landings in June 1944, Arthur and Richard are tasked with sabotaging enermy defenses at Merville. After a perilous landing and encounters with Enermy patrols, Arthur leads the team to hijack Enermy trucks and roll them into minefields to clear the way. They attack and destroy the Enermy fortifications, despite setbacks like a malfunctioning flare. Richard is wounded, but Arthur signals the Navy to stop firing, allowing Allied forces to advance from the beaches.
