I hate textured walls, I always have. So I thought I would take it upon myself to DIY applying a skim coat to the walls and ceiling in our entryway. About a year ago I went bold and painted it black. Now we are over it and are looking for a different feeling and overall design. This is my first time doing it and I can't be happier with results despite my many mistakes along the way. This part of the process took about 5 days from start to finish minus the clean up.
