Hello! In this video, I will show you how to make a stitch and flip a tree block and bird block.

The tree block has some crazy patchwork mixed with stitch and flip. Then, there is a bit of piecing for the trunk. The bird block looks like it has a lot of small pieces, but as you will see, it isn't too difficult. It is also a mix of quilted piecing and stitch and flip.

Stitch and Flip is a technique in quilt-as-you-go quilting in which you piece and quilt at the same time through the top layer, batting, and backing. It is a fun and quick method for quilting and perfect for quilt-as-you-go quilting.

Any of the blocks in this playlist can be made into a quilt-as-you-go quilt; all you have to do is repeat the design and choose a joining method.
