Day 5 aboard the Carnival Vista takes us to the vibrant streets of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico!

We start our adventure with a traditional breakfast at Café Mallorca, then dive into Puerto Rican culture with a stop at Restaurante Raíces for their famous mofongo. Of course, no trip to San Juan is complete without the original piña colada at Barrachina!

After fueling up, we explore the historic Castillo San Felipe del Morro (El Morro) — and let’s just say we underestimated that walk . Along the way, we stumble upon a lively pigeon-filled square, take in stunning ocean views, and soak up the charm of this colorful city.

Back onboard the Carnival Vista, we wind down with cocktails at the Alchemy Bar, a delicious dinner at Bonsai Sushi, and finish the night enjoying a few of the ship’s incredible shows.
