Rail cutting is a very important work in railway engineering department. Without this work neither we can lay the railway line nor can we do the work of changing the rail. This work is done by a petrol engine machine which is done by an expert person. Earlier this work was done by hacksaw blade which used to take a lot of time but now this work is done by machine in which less manpower is also used and good progress is achieved. रेल कटिंग एक बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण कार्य है रेलवे इंजीनियरिंग विभाग में। बिना इस कार्य के न तो हम रेलवे लाइन बिछा सकते है और न ही रेल बदलने का कार्य कर सकते है। ये कार्य एक पेट्रोल इंजन वाली मशीन से होता है जोकि एक एक्सपर्ट व्यक्ति द्वारा होता है। पहले यह काम हेक्सब्लेड से होता था जिसमे बहुत टाइम लगता था लेकिन अब यह कार्य मशीन से होता है जिसमे मैनपावर भी कम लगता है और अच्छा प्रोग्रेस मिलता है।
