Описание к видео 2016 Corvette C7.R Daytona Prototype 5.5 V8 Rumble - Warm up, Accelerations & Fly Bys

During a Brno GP Revival on Automotodrom Brno I was able to film this very interesting Corvette C7 Daytona prototype. To be honest, I forgot to take a picture where all the information about this car was written and it's not easy to search it on internet, but from what I've found the car was supposedly built in 2012 to compete in Rolex series in North America. Then it has undergone various modifications and adjustments to comply with IMSA regulations against P2 cars. These modifications include for example carbon clutch and brakes, large rear diffuser and wing plus, visually, lights from Corvette C7. It's powered by a 5.5 liter V8 engine (based on LS9) designed by ECR Engines. The car was actually very successful in IMSA series, securing many podiums and wins. During this event it was driven by Matteo Ferrer-Aza in Masters Endurance Legends category. For me, it was probably the most attractive car of the whole event.
