Stitcher, the on demand radio app was looking for specialty graphics to spruce up the interior of the main lobby entrance in their newest San Francisco office location.
Given the general idea of wanting to incorporate their cover art, SpeedPro East Bay and Stitcher put our heads together to figure out the best solution for this. In order to give it a high end feel and a dimensional look, we started with the idea of printing on glass but the cost was a bit out of budget so instead we came up with acrylic which led us to this result.
We printed on adhesive vinyl and reverse mounted it to the acrylic so it would be forward facing with rich color. We then applied foamcore to the backs of each of the acrylics so that it would stand off from the wall and have a bit of dimension. We did a total of 40 of these acrylic and double sided sticky tape mounted them to the wall.
