This video shows how how I converted a Harbor Freight LED pop-up lantern double AA batteries to a 1S2P lithium battery pack. This conversion uses a TP4056 bms to charge and protect the cells from over charging and discharging. This board cost less then $1. The lantern cost $5. 18650 cells was harvested from recycled laptop batteries. This project cost only $6.
