Announcing our Spring Semester Orchestra Program 2024!
North America Chinese Youth Orchestra (NACYO) is inviting all 1st - 12th graders to our music program and learn to play world music on traditional Chinese instruments! They include the Chinese erhu (two-string fiddle), pipa (lute), dizi (bamboo flute), yangqin (hammered-dulcimer), guzheng (table harp), and Chinese percussions!

Our music program:
-teaches weekly group class, orchestra rehearsal, music theory class, and performance skills by our world-class faculty artists,
-cultivates students' cross-cultural understanding,
-guides students to contribute to their community through their music,
-nurtures in our students the values of compassion, artistic beauty appreciation, and inclusiveness

North America Chinese Youth Orchestra (NACYO) provides music education for 1st to 12th grades. Our music education teaches students to play music from diverse cultures on Chinese traditional instruments, guitar & violin; cultivates students’ cross-cultural understanding; guides students to contribute to their community through their music, and nurtures in our students the values of compassion, artistic beauty appreciation, and inclusiveness.
