Maxxing the 1050 BHP Lucid @ Goodwood

Hop aboard for my time attack at Goodwood Festival of Speed in the official shootout with the Lucid Air GTP. Boasting 1050 BHP in electric form - the zero to sixty in about 2.5 seconds compresses your organs and then the relentless pull from 50-100mph gave the car a huge edge on the climb up the hill.

This car is unlike anything else I've ever driven. With the batteries in the floor and a low ride height, the weight is as low as you can get it which helps the car tackle a corner - the suspension has been developed by some real gear-heads who baked in plenty of compliance, so the car can lean into the tyres to generate grip when the driver calls for it. The power is unreal, and the brakes are severe when you need to stop on the other side ;)

The only issue we had during the weekend was getting held up by the other Supercars - LOL this family sedan made mincemeat of many a Nurburgring legend.
