Layman’s Abstract
Chicken manure, or waste from chicken excrement, is proving to be a promising and eco-friendly way to manage waste while also benefiting agriculture. Because chicken waste is rich in essential nutrients like nitrogen, phosphate, and potassium, it is a better natural fertilizer than other animal wastes, such as pig manure. However, it also contains bacteria that can cause diseases in humans, so it needs to be properly treated before use.

This study focused on how chicken waste manure affects the growth of Vigna aconitifolia, a plant that is high in protein and commonly used as food and animal fodder. The chicken waste was processed with the help of microbes to increase its nutrient value and make it safe for agricultural use.

After 150 days, researchers observed that plants treated with chicken manure fertilizer grew taller, had more leaves, roots, and pods, and produced a higher number of seeds compared to untreated plants. The study confirmed that higher doses of chicken manure directly improved plant growth.

Overall, this research highlights that properly treated chicken manure can be an excellent organic fertilizer for sustainable farming, reducing waste and enhancing crop production at the same time.
