BS - The Artist of the Month

Creative Impulse Music and Mr. Butterscotch are proud to present November's Artist of the Month, New York-based rapper BS. BS's raw charisma and commanding stage presence have catapulted him up the ranks in the city that birthed his art form - hip hop - and he's turning more than a few heads.

"I've heard people call BS 'unstoppable'. That's totally accurate," comments Creative Impulse CEO Jan Lucanus. "I first saw him in line waiting to perform at Freestyle Mondays, and even before he touched the mic, he was hard not to watch. He has that energy. Then he grabbed the mic and took over. I've seen him perform several times since, and he always brings a fun, sharp style with electromagnetic personality."

Mr. Butterscotch himself, Paul Shull, comments on BS, "This dude has a black belt in lyric writing...I love it."

November has been a big month for BS, including being featured on NBC's the Today Show with his partner, international beatboxer Grey Matter, had an impromptu freestyle performance for Nikon at New York's hip hop monument, 5 Pointz, and has his newest single featured in-store across the progressive frozen yogurt franchise, 16 Handles.
