Hello our GO-STREAM users, for those who are hesitating on becoming a secondlife dj , new djs or streaming music properly here is our official tutorial by vlogger Bollycoco showing you how to perfectly rent, setup a stream and broadcast your music in Secondlife using free dj software Mixxx and our streams, its FREE, and EASY Happy Streaming share the love share the music ! 🎶

Note that a Second Life Dj is not a real life Dj with tools etc;. its just a person with some charisma cheerful personality who broadcasts a nice selection of songs that people enjoy 😊

⛔ Remember that if you're a new Secondlife Dj sets are mainly 2 hours longs, between 128kbps and 320kbps bitrate there is no quality difference, AND your land URL is what clubs and owners will call by asking you " your stream link/url"

For those who use MIxxx here some help in case of connecting error:
!!!!!SELECT SHOUTCAT IN THE "TYPE" DROPDOWN MENU!!!!
1/ make sure you are putting in password the STREAM password and not the Centova panel password
2/ make sure you put the STREAM ip adress in the three tabs " Host, Mount, Login"
3/ Make sure to put the stream port correctly into the tab "port"
4/ Make sure if you copy and paste your stream information to copy them WITHOUT ANY SPACE included
Sometimes littles forgotten steps can lead to an error but if you do everything the right way it works just perfectly ☺
5/ Don,t change the password in centova cast pannel cuz the ipads doesn,t support the password changing. However, The Ipads does not support changing the admin password, so in the Centova server the original admin password would remain, which would create a discrepancy.

"Socket Busy Error"
Solution : There is some errors sometimes while installing mixxx it simply means your " mixxx " is corrupted anything can happen, antiviru/software can enter in conflict with the installation and lead to this, you have to UNINSTALL mixxx and make a clean install, to proceed the CLEAN INSTALL you have to re INSTALL mixxx in a DIFERENT DIRECTORY not in the same one that contained the error. It should work if you ever get this error just reinstall Mixxx, its a software glitch nothing else clean install solves it.

" Could not stream, lame mp3 is missing"
Solution : You have to download lame mp3 file, if you dont have it already. The problem here is that mixxx does not convert automatically songs to mp3, Secondlife requires mp3, every audio that is streamed on Secondlife must be mp3.
Softwares like VDJ does the conversion automatically for example.
You have to then DOWNLOAD lame mp3 FILE and just drag it and drop it into the mixxx source folder to do this ;

1 - Download official lame mp3 here the official link :

( copy and paste it in your browser and download lame mp3 file)

2 - Unzip the zipped folder you receive with WinRAR or 7Zip for example

3 - Once your folder is open and ready click right and copy the lame mp3 file

4 - Go to your desktop and click right on Mixxx logo select " open the source directory " then PASTE the lame mp3 file

5 - restart Mixxx and voilà ! Everything should work fine.
