Jon Spencer has been playing blues punk for decades and with legends from R.L. Burnside through Beck. After a hiatus through much of the aughts, JSBX returned with a vengeance with live shows and last year's excellent LP, Meat + Bone. They played their usual blistering set of old and new greats and Jon joined us for a nice little chat.

Subcarrier is the continuation of WE HAVE SIGNAL, a project active from 2008 until 2015 when the world-famous venue BottleTree closed.
