Imran Awan was arrested while trying to flee to Pakistan last night, but thanks to the fake news media blackout, most people have no idea who he is. So, here’s a quick rundown on what’s happening.

In 2005 Debbie Wasserman Schultz hired Pakistani nationals, Imran Awan and four others, to work IT for the DNC. Imran was on the payroll for several Democrat House members, as well as collecting money for four relatives who supposedly also worked as IT workers, but nobody ever met them.

They’re described as “no show” employees falsely employed to get around the maximum allowed salary of $160,000, a maximum that’s set to prevent staffers from making more than house members. As a result they raked in over $4,000,000.

In February Imran’s stepmother went to police alleging that they had imprisoned her and tried to force her to sign over their father’s inheritance. Around the same time, and perhaps as a result, Capitol Police launched an investigation into the Awan Brothers and discovered that they had illegally accessed House computers and sent data to an offsite private server. This could include extremely sensitive emails and information from members of the House Intelligence Committee. For example, this breach could even explain the raid in Yemen in February that resulted in Officer William Owens losing his life in an operation where Al-Qaeda members were tipped-off in advance.

The Awan Brothers were banned from the network and fired, but stunningly Debbie Wasserman Schultz then hired Imran as a personal aide. Then Capitol Police obtained a laptop tied to the Awan Brothers and Debbie Wasserman Schultz, you may remember in this video, she threatened Capitol Police if they did not return it.

While this is going on, several member of the Awan family fled back to Pakistan. Imran, although still working for Debbie Wasserman Schultz, left his home in VA, but rented it out to a Marine vet who discovered cabinets full of stolen government laptops and hard drives. He contacted NCIS, and the FBI got involved with the investigation and took possession of the stolen laptops and hard drives.

The Daily Caller broke the story, and we at Cernovich Media reported on it as well. This may have caused Imran to panic because he then wired close to $300,000 back to Pakistan and attempted to flee the country. He was intercepted by authorities and forced to surrender his passport last night.

Meanwhile, Debbie Wasserman Schultz finally officially fired Imran, but a lawyer from the Clinton Foundation has now been hired to defend him and is already blaming, you guessed it, a vast right wing conspiracy and Islamaphobia.
