Exciting News and Playing with Paint! Fluid Art Painting Techniques. Every now and then I have an experimental session in my studio, perhaps when I feel a little demotivated and I'm looking for fresh ideas. Most of the time these paintings don't see the light of day, but occasionally a little element of a painting sparks another idea and gives me something to use in another painting. These sessions are very often little tests for much larger paintings.

I will be back with my beginners videos soon, but I wanted you to see that not every painting turns out quite the way I want it to!

My Recipes:
POURING MEDIUM:
700ml of PVA Glue mixed with 300ml water.

COLOURS:
1 part paint mixed with 2 parts pouring medium
add water to correct required consistency

LACING/CELL ACTIVATORS:
Each one of the 3 recipes below will give you varying results

Amsterdam Titanium White
Pouring Medium (as above)
1 tbsp Acrylic Polymer Gloss Varnish
Based on 20 grams of paint to 40 grams of Pouring Medium

1 tbsp of Propylene Glycol
