We’ve done it – 25 parkruns completed! 🎉
Join Tom and Julie as we celebrate our 25th milestone parkrun at the fantastic Penistone parkrun in South Yorkshire.

This week’s parkrun featured a beautiful out-and-back course, starting and finishing on a field, before heading out along the stunning Penistone Way towards Lancashire. It’s a scenic, runnable route that we absolutely loved.

What really made this parkrun special, though, was the incredible volunteers. Having only started running seven months ago, and now completing 25 parkruns, we can honestly say the Penistone parkrun volunteers were the most supportive, encouraging and friendly we’ve encountered so far. Their positivity made a huge difference and helped make this milestone even more memorable.

If you’re new to running, thinking about starting parkrun, or following a beginner running journey, we hope this video inspires you to lace up your trainers and give it a go. parkrun truly is for everyone, no matter your pace or experience.
